Hi, I'm Stephanie

I'm a baker, food photographer, wife, and mom to 3 rambunctious boys. Baking has been my passion for as long as I can remember. It brings me joy when my kitchen smells of freshly baked cookies and I love seeing the happiness on my children's faces when they're eating my desserts.

After finishing culinary school and graduating with a degree in Food & Nutrition, I started Love & Sugar Bakeshop creating custom cakes. I used my experience in product development to tweak recipes to my liking. As a foodie, I love to incorporate unique flavour combinations tailored to my clients' specific tastes and firmly believe that food should always taste as good as it looks.

I became obsessed with learning to make macarons after my sister and her husband brought some back from Paris and spent years working on my technique to achieve the perfect chewy macaron texture. In 2019, I decided to focus my business solely on these little treats and haven't looked back since.
